For qualifying birth mothers ASI offers the following services on a no-cost case-by-case basis:
Crisis Pregnancy Counseling and Referral
Initial Assessments
Help Creating a Plan for Adoption
Help Finding the Right Adoptive Family
Overall Coordination of Your Plan for Adoption
Help Working with Birth Fathers
Help Setting Up Medicaid Transportation
Provide Monthly Bus Passes
Support for Extended Family
Support During Pregnancy and Delivery
Lawyer Referral
Community Referrals
Post Adoption Support Provided on an Individual Need Basis
Paternity Testing if Necessary
Referral to Other Services as Needed
Financial Assistance
Upon completion of all ASI adoption forms, and on a case-by-case basis, those birth moms who meet eligibility needs may qualify for time-limited financial assistance. Contact ASI directly for more information and eligibility criteria.

Rent
Mortgage Payment
Utilities
Phone
Bus Passes & Transportation
Food
Other pregnancy-related expenses allowed and approved by the court
Most birth mothers who qualify for Missouri Medicaid for Pregnant Women commonly qualify for food stamps, WIC, and Medicaid transportation. Those with Medicaid qualify for free Medicaid Transportation to all OB visits, WIC appointments, and trips to the pharmacy after OB appointments.
